1. New Computer Setup

Initialize system, perform PC start-up, download updates, perform initial system analysis, and ensure system is working properly.  This service includes creating self restore CDs or DVDs that I supply.  If self restore is unavailable then backup DVDs are made.

Single computer with printer and monitor:  $45.00

 

2. Installation of Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7

This involves upgrading the operating system after the install. This service is usually done at my location. Internet and email setup are $10 more on existing networks. Device drivers will need to be installed.

Customer provided Windows CD: $40.00

Restore from backup CD or Partition: $35.00

OEM Self Restore from DVD, CD, or hard drive partition: $25.00

 

3. Non-OS Software installation

This service is usually done at my location.  The customer must provide the software to install.

Single software title: $25.00

More than one software title: $35.00

 

4. Network and Internet Setup

This service is usually done at the customer’s location.   I handle both wired and wireless networks.  Customers must have the internet provider prior to my setup. Additional cost depending on type of network and work to be done. I can set everything up to share files or printers on any network.  This service does not include dial up internet services.

Single computer setup: $25.00

Each additional computer or printer: $15.00

More than three computers or cable installs: Call for Quote

 

5. Hardware Upgrades or Replacement

Hardware installation is done at my location.  This service may require time for parts to arrive.  I can install any PC card or device.

Memory Only: $25.00

All computer cards, one or more:

Sound card, graphics card, optical drive, power supply, floppy drive, modem or NIC:  $35.00

Hard drives (non operating system):  $35

Hard drives (operating system): $45

 

6. Resolve Hardware or Software Errors

This service can be done onsite depending on the problem. Replacement parts may be required.

Diagnoses: $25.00

 

7. Software Tweaks to improve performance

Slow boot up or Errors. This service includes the following for $25.00

The removal of temp files and extra folders not used

Cleanup of system files

Changes to performance through software changes

De-fragment the hard drive partitions

Remove Adware, Spyware, and Viruses. This would eliminate any possible hacker attacks.

 

8. Desktop or Laptop cleaning service

This service can be done at my location. I can keep your computer running like new by cleaning your computer’s fans, power supplies, case, keyboards, and drives. Computers last longer if they run cooler. Having your computer cleaned every 3 months helps to prevent component and drive failure.

Non contract, one laptop or desktop: $25

Non contract, desktops or laptops, two to five computers:  $45

Contract, desktops or laptops one to three computers four times a year:  $65 a year
